Amanda Savell, 5'6", 137 lbs (at the time of our shoot) was a bodybuilder for several years before deciding to switch to figure competitions.
At 26 years old, she's an accomplished athlete in several sports. As a teenager, she was a nationally ranked tennis player and went on to play at Texas Tech becoming an All Big 12 singles star.
Through working out for tennis, Amanda fell in love with weight training and has been training as a physique athlete for the last four years. Her biggest accomplishment as a competitive bodybuilder was winning the Southwest Heavyweight Bodybuilding and Overall Championship in 2002.
Still living in Texas, Amanda is a personal trainer and runs a fitness boot camp for other women.
